From US 29, go west on I-70 a little more than 4.0 miles to Exit 83 (Marriottsville North). (Approaching from the west, there is no exit from I-70; instead, exit on US 40 east and turn left at the traffic light at Marriottsville Road.) Go north on Marriottsville Road 1.1 miles from I-70 to the traffic light at MD 99 (Old Frederick Road). Turn left and continue 0.8 miles to the park entrance on the left.
