Elkhorn Branch Garden Plots - ADC 16-B11, Delorme 57-D6
This area can be reached by walking on a paved path east from Lake Elkhorn under the transmission lines. The plots are on the east side of Oakland Mills Road which is a heavily traveled four lane road. Use extreme caution in crossing. From US 29, go east on MD 32 for 1.6 miles to Broken Land Parkway north (Exit 14A). Go north on Broken Land Pkwy 0.6 mile to the traffic light at Snowden River Parkway. Turn right and continue 1.8 miles to a left (north) at the light on Oakland Mills Road. From that intersection, continue 0.9 mile to a right turn at a metal gate on a gravel road. Parking is anywhere along the garden plots on the right.
