Field Trip: Thursday, November 20, 2008
Poplar Island
Trip Leader: Hanfman, Joe
Date of Trip: Thursday, November 20, 2008
Location: Poplar Island
Details: This was a spur-of-the-moment trip organized after a
Snowy Owl was seen. Joe coordinated the car-pooling for those from
Howard County. He commented, "I hope everyone enjoyed the trip as much
as I did. I know that nobody saw everything on the list but everyone
saw our main target bird, the Snowy Owl and most saw the Black Skimmer
and Snow Buntings."
